Will we face All Blacks at Millennium?

03-May-2013

Rugby World Cup 2015 match schedule was published yesterday.

Schedule contains dates, stadiums and fixtures, the kick off times are not indicated yet.

So far the Lelos are leading the European qualification after the first round and there are great chances for them to keep this position (Europe 1).

If it keeps that way – and we are sharing big hopes on that – then the pool schedule would look as following:

Georgia (in Pool C)

Day Date Opposition City Stadium
Sat 19/09 Tonga Gloucester Kingsholm
Fri 25/09 Argentina Gloucester Kingsholm
Fri 02/10 New Zealand Cardiff Millennium
Wed 07/10 Africa 1 Exeter Sandy Park

Never the less, Sport is Sport, and nothing can guarantee us yet Europe 1 qualifier position in group C. So if we end in pool D, we will have two matches in London, but will have short time for recreation in between them.

Georgia (in Pool D)

Day Date Opposition City Stadium
Wed 23/09 France London Olympic
Sun 27/09 Ireland London Wembley
Tue 06/10 America 1
Leicester

Leicester City Stadium
Sun 11/10 Italy
Exeter
Sandy Park

There is also the third a third option, unlikely, but if we qualify as a third European side we will have to play in trans regional and end up in pool A:

Georgia (in Pool A)

Day Date Opposition City Stadium
Sun 20/09 Wales Cardiff Millennium
Sun 27/09 Australia
Birmingham

Villa Park
Tue 06/10 Oceanea 1 Milton Keynes MK
Sat 10/10 Africa 1
Manchester
City Stadium
