The Lelos’ squad announced for the home test against Japan



In two days’ time, at St. George’s day, Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi will feature Georgia hosting Japan in their last home Autumn International in 2014. 

With 48 hours remaining to KO, Georgian Coaching staff named The Lelos’ match squad against Japan.

There have been some amenders made to the squad. Lock Dimitri Basilaia will not play due to the injury. Same with Lasha Malaghuradze, who got concussion during Ireland vs Georgia test last week, when he lost conscious during the tackle attempt.


Vazha Khutsishvili will start the match as a scrum half. Full back Beka Tsiklauri who was not featured in the squad at previous two tests will be in reserves. Sunday’s match will also feature Giorgi Aptsiauri, who will have a chance to win his first international cap.
