The Lelos head to Poland on August 5, after they finish first part of their RWC preparations phase 2 – Tbilisi Camp in two days’ time. According to Coaching Staff, the team well adapted to increased work load and intensity of training sessions after they gathered back to Shevardeni Base on July 27th . One could clearly see the progress during the open training session the team held on July 30th.

Happily Georgia’s lock Levan Datunashvili, returned from knee injury he received during the last round of 2015 Tbilisi Cup in June and is now training with the team in full force.

Milton Haig on recent updated:

“players have adapted well to the intensity and mental demands we are now putting into the training schedule. They are completing the trainings much easier even though they are longer and more intense than 5 weeks ago.

“This clearly shows that they are fitter, stronger and faster - exactly where we wanted them to be going into the Poland camp.

“Our injured players have returned to training well and will only get better as they progress through the next phase of trainings.

Its very important we continue our progression in terms of technical skills and fitness before we go to England in 3 weeks as in England we will start to introduce our tactical play into our trainings which will be important for our warm up matches."
