Preparations underway in Poland

10-Aug-2015

After the 5 weeks of home camp, The Lelos moved to the second part of their RWC preparations phase two. The team departed to Poland last week, where they continue with strength and conditioning oriented training sessions with added benefit of Cryotherapy at ‘Centiewo’ Olympic Center, where the players go through 2-3 minutes procedures in special Cryonic chambers with the temperature of minus120 centigrade  after the training sessions, thus enabling them to come back to shape much faster.

"The training camp has begun well in Poland. Players have recovered well from the early morning travel and have trained well since arriving. Temperatures have been very good for training and the facilities are world class. Players have enjoyed the experience of the Cryotherapy chamber with a lot of positive feedback. It's still too early to decide on "training effect" but the initial signs are very positive.” Said Milton Haig

According to Georgian head coach, besides the positive effect of Cryotherapy on training sessions the team also benefits from the change of environment “The change of training base has been very good and it has refreshed everyone mentally, especially as the area is a very popular polish holiday destination with 10s of thousands of Polish people here at the moment"

The Lelos will head back home from Poland on August 15 and take another week off before they travel to UK on August 24 to start the Phase three of preparations.
