In exactly 2 days, on October 2, at 20:00, The Lelos will encounter the current World Champion New Zealand. This fixture - first of a kind for the Georgian Rugby’s history - will be played in the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff.

The Lelos’ preparation for their third RWC match began after their relocation in Wales on Friday. On September 29 they arranged their first training session in Newport. And today, at the day of match squad announcement, they held the Captain’s Run for their first encounter against All Blacks.

The Lelos Center Merab Sharikadze:

"They are strongest in their open game, their offloading, and their high-speed game is really good. That is the main threat for us and we will have to make our tackles otherwise we will get smashed.

"When we have the ball we have to hang on to it, not lose it. If we can do that then they will have less chance to attack us and it will be better for us."

Traditionally, with 48 hours to the game, the Head Coach Milton Haig names match day 23 against the World Champions:
