U20| Line-up against Junior Boke

Junior Lelos’ coaching staff named the team lineup for Georgian Under 20 team’s first South African tour fixture – Georgia vs South Africa.

Ilia Maisuradze’s, Lado Kilasonia’s and Zurab Amonashvili’s trainees are getting ready for World Rugby Under 20 Championship, which will be hosted by Argentina on June 4-22, 2019. In the framework of its last pre-tournament training camp, the team went to South Africa where it will play three high-level warm-up matches.

Like in Argentina, the South African tour matches will be played with a 4-day turnaround. On April 9 our team will clash against the hosts – South Africa Under 20 team; on April 13 they will play against WRU20C hosts Argentina U20, and on April 17 Junior Lelos will finalize their tour by playing against the senior team of Namibia XV.

Considering that this tour is part of pre-tournament preparation and coaches of all teams are willing to test as many players as possible, the squads are made up of 28 players. The Lelos’ match against Junior Boke will kick off at 18:00 Georgia time (16:00 local).

There are 2 overseas players in our starting 15 and 2 – on the bench. The most starting squad players come from R.C. Lelo-Saracens – 5 players, 3 represent Kutaisi-based R.C. Aia and 2 – R.C. Jiqi (Gori); R.C. Kharebi (Rustavi), R.C. Armazi (Marneuli) and R.C. Armia (Tbilisi) contributed 1 player each.
